Add some turmeric and black pepper to your diet daily. It’s an ancient, tried and tested formula for boosting your immune system. Consume it in tea along with water and spices such as cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, and saffron or add to your milk.
Coconut Oil
Begin your day with 1 to 2 tsp. of pure coconut oil. It helps in decreasing inflammation and digesting fat-soluble vitamins. Coconut oil contains antiviral properties that can attack a range of bacteria and viruses. Remember you have to take this in moderation only.
Liquorice
Liquorice better known as Mulethi in several parts of India has several antivirals, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agents. It is known to be very helpful in various viral illnesses. So, serve yourself a warm cup of Mulethi tea if you feel like you are about to catch a cold.
Vitamin C
Your body depends on these nutrients to launch a powerful immune response. So, gorge on plenty of citrus fruits such as oranges, Amla, guavas, berries, and lime. in your diet.
